Melting Moment cookies are easy to make and very quick to make and start by simply melting the butter in a pan.
They are a soft, buttery, and melt in your mouth cookie.
I like to keep things very simple with the jam thumbprint, but they can be dressed up and sandwiched with buttercream or drizzled with chocolate ganache.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 2/3 cups flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons strawberry jam

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 350 F
Step 2
Mix your dry ingredients together
Step 3
Add in the melted butter
Step 4
Mix well
Step 5
Roll into balls and place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet
Step 6
Make a thumb indent into the top of each cookie ball
Step 7
Bake for 20 minutes
Step 8
Allow to cool and then add a little jam into the indent of each one
