The Honesty plant is an easy to grow, low maintenance biennial.

It will flower in the second season after planting, but it self seeds really easily, so once it blooms you get it into a cycle and have plants flowering and coming back year after year.

The purple flower clusters appear in late spring followed by its beautiful paper-thin seed pods in the fall and rustle in the wind.
