- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 cups sharp shredded cheese

Whisk the cornstarch into the milk in a pot and gently heat stirring all the time
When it has thickened, cook for another minute

Remove from the heat and stir in 2 3/4 cups of the shredded cheese

Stir in the pasta

Transfer to a pie dish and sprinkle the top with the remaining cheese
