Pizza dough is easy to make and can be frozen so you have ready-to-go dough in the freezer.
You can use pizza dough for the best homemade pizza made with your favourite toppings as well as cheesy breadsticks and simple calzone hand pies.

Ingredients
- 1 cup bread flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 scant cup lukewarm water

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Mix both types of flour and your salt together in a large bowl
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine the yeast, water, and oil together
Step 3
Pour the yeast mixture into the flour
Step 4
Knead with your hands until it is well combined
Step 5
Let it rest for 15 minutes
Step 6
Knead the rested dough for another 3 minutes
Step 7
Cut into 2 pieces and form each piece into a ball
Step 8
Place the balls on a floured tray and cover with a damp cloth and allow to rise at room temperature for 4 hours or in the fridge for 8 – 24 hours
Step 9
Remove the dough from the tray and place it on a lightly oiled surface – if you are using the dough from the fridge, allow it to come to room temperature for 45 minutes

Shape as needed
Freezing Tips
You can freeze the dough once you have completed step 8 and the dough has finished rising
Lightly coat in oil and place into freezer bags
You can store it in the freezer for 1 month
Allow it to thaw overnight in the fridge and then allow it to come to room temperature for an hour before shaping
