Breadcrumbs are used in many recipes and I find it really useful to have a bag in the freezer.They are really easy to make and I will buy a loaf of bread just for breadcrumbs so I can make a big batch.
Drop a handful of the bread cubes into a blender or food processor
Pulse the blender/food processor until you have a fine crumb
Empty into a large bowl
Repeat until you have used up all of your bread cubes
To freeze, place in a freezer bag and put into the freezer

Tips
Don't place anything on top of them in the freezer
When using them for the first time from the freezer, squeeze the bag a couple of times to loosen them up, and then take what you need
To defrost spread what you need out on a plate at room temperature for 30 minutes
