How to Peel and Core an Apple
This method of peeling and coring an apple is my favourite - its quick to peel and super easy to core.
Equipment
- 1 vegetable peeler
- 1 knife
Materials
- 1 apple
Instructions
- At the top and bottom of your apple peel away a circle
- Once the top and bottom are peeled, peel strips down the body of the apple
- Work your way around the apple until all the peel is removed
- Position the apple bottom side down and cut the apple top to bottom as close to the core and stem as possible
- You will end up with 4 pieces and a square core
- Slice the apple as needed for your recipe
